Menu Cover
If your looking for a place to get a good burger and enjoy all of your sports entertainment at the same time head over to The City of Champions for a good time and an even better bite. City Of Champions offers a range of food all the way from there delicious Juco burger to a steak burritohttp://www.jolietnightout.com/bars/262131/city-of-champions#Menu. The place has a great atmosphere for sports lovers with almost every sport on one of the TV's.

My 1 lb Juco Burger
As I walked into the City of Champions I looked to my left and recognized that there were arcade games for costumers entertainment, then I was instantly greeted by a man behind a desk, and after being asked how many we were sitting we had in our group escorted and we were instantly showed to our seats by our waitress. Immediately after seating us she took our drink orders and went off on her way. The restaurant had a bar which also had touch screens with many mini games for costumers entertainment and for it being lunch time but not to the point of where I was falling asleep at the table, all the TV's had sports all over them and most of them had a bull riding competition on due to the fact that none of the playoff games had started yet. Our waitress quickly returned with our drinks and we put through our order. I ordered a Juco burger which was a 1lb burger with a mild or hot BBQ sauce, it also comes in a 1/2 pound, my father ordered a chicken wrap, Jorge ordered a burrito specifically with guacamole and sour cream inside the burrito, and my sister ordered chicken strips, and we all ordered a side of waffle fries.

As I previously stated the menu had a wide variety of choices to choose from, it ranges all the way from Mexican food to a wide selection of burgers to choose from. The menu is neatly organized and makes what your looking for easy to find with large and very readable printing. Walking into the restaurant I had a taste for a burger so I didn't focus much on the other selections but judging by the speed of how fast my party found their selections that they had to put fourth little effort to find what they desired. The restaurant offers a copious amount of burgers to choose from that will satisfy the taste buds of any burger loving human being.

The wait for our food was not long at all, maybe a max of 15 mins and all of the orders were done correctly. As the food was brought to our table I was a little overwhelmed by the size of my burger, I almost didn't know where to begin. The restaurants food portion size was quite generous as none of us needed to order seconds or even finished all of our food. As we proceeded to eat conversation dulled and eventually came to a stop. While we were in the midst of our feast the playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers had started and the staff lowered a projection screen and done so very quickly to insure that they were not in the way of the guests view. The image quality was not the best but the screen was large enough so their was not complaints about the viewing. Service was great to say the least, the waitress was not very attractive but was very polite and looked like she enjoyed what she was doing, there was never a moment where our table was waiting for something to drink, we were always being asked if we needed something but not to the point where it was annoying and we just wanted to be left alone. After we finished our meal the waitress returned and asked if we wanted dessert and my sister proceeded to order chocolate ice cream. The waitress returned quickly with the frozen dairy treat, and as my sister began to indulge in her dessert she quickly stated that the ice cream tasted terrible. She offered me a spoonful and I denied due to the fact that I felt like I was going to explode, but Jorge couldn't resist his sweet tooth and tried the ice cream, and after he quickly stated that the taste was awful. My father asked for the bill and without hesitation our server brought it to us. The bill was not too costly but it wasn't cheap either, but for the quality and service it was worth it. In the end my experience at The City of Champions was fantastic and I expect to return soon.

If you have a taste for athuentic Mexican food, wheather its cow tounge or a burrito, Burrito Express has it all. Burrito Express is located off of 59 in Shorewood right next to the Dunkin Doughnuts. When you walk into Burrito Express you will be quickly greated by an employee and showed where your table is. Then, like any other restaurant they ask what you would like to drink, and as you wait for your food to be brought out you are given Mexican style chips and salsa which is delishous, I personally dont enjoy spicy food as much as the rest of the world and their salsa is not spicy and filled with flavor. Not only does Burrito Express have great food and service, but they aslo have great prices, so iif you live in the Plainfield, Joliet, or Shorewood area head over to Burrito Express and enjoy the taste of Mexico.
